This category is for self-built homes that have been completed for under £250,000 (excluding land) and is open to projects that make best use of the budget available and those at the more affordable end of the spectrum.

We welcome a full range of build systems to enter this category and anyone may enter. Judges will look at how the project has delivered a high-quality home that represents great value-for-money, while achieving the homeowner’s requirements.

Pictures are required of the interior and exterior of the home, along with a set of clear floorplans, a detailed description of the project and a reference from the homeowner.
