Where do I send my entries?

All entries must be uploaded online.  First you will need to create an account.  Make sure your entry is labelled with your company name and the category you are entering, otherwise we will not be able to process your entry. Visit this page for more information.

Can I email an entry?

No, entries must be uploaded online. You must create an account on our website to enter the awards.  You can find more information about entering here.

Do I need to pay to enter an Award?

Standard entry fee is £100 plus VAT per category. No entry will be considered by the judges unless the entry fee has been paid in full (where applicable). Nominated categories, Best Collective or Group Self Build and Best Council for Self/Custom Builders, are free to enter.  Payment needs to be made online as part of the entry proces

How much does it cost to enter the Awards?

Each category costs £100 plus VAT to enter.

How many picture of my project should I include?

For a home project award, up to 10 pictures (mix of internal and external) plus floorplans.

I'm having trouble entering my card details

To pay for an Awards Entry you need to enter your long card number, card expiry date and CVC number. You can do this all on the same line of the form as shown in the image below.

Can I enter the same product into more than one category?

Yes, but the full entry fee (£100 plus VAT) must be paid for each category entered, except in the case of nominated categories (see above).

Can I upload an entry on behalf of a company I am representing?

Yes! PR representatives can upload entries for their clients. Make sure you label the form and images with the company name and category entered, otherwise we will not be able to process your entry.

When is judging taking place?

Judging for the 2020 awards will be taking place at the end of September.

When will the Shortlist be announced?

Our shortlist will be announced in October.

Can my company sponsor one of the awards?

Who judges the Build It Awards?

Our impartial judging panel is comprised of 8 judges with different areas of special knowledge within the home building and renovating sector. You can view the complete list of judges here.

Do winners find out prior to the Awards Ceremony?

No, all our winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.

When is the Awards Ceremony?

The Build It Award winners will be announced on Friday 27th November.  More details to follow.
