When do entries open for the 2019 awards?

Entries for the Build It Awards 2019 are now open!

What is the entry deadline?

The entry deadline for the Build It Awards 2019 has been extended to the 23rd of September

Where do I send my entries?

Please email one copy, with high-res images, to and post one copy, including up to 4x A4 sheets of images, to: Build It Awards, Castle Media Ltd, 1 King Street Cloisters, Clifton Walk (off King Street), Hammersmith, London, W6 0QE

Can I email an entry?
Yes, please email your entry, with high-res images, to Please also post a copy of your entry to the above address.

Payment of Entries
Standard entry fee is £99 plus VAT per category. No entry will be considered by the judges unless the entry fee has been paid in full (where applicable). Nominated categories, Best Collective or Group Self Build and Best Council for Self/Custom Builders, are free to enter.

Can I enter the same product into more than one category?
Yes, but the full entry fee (£99 plus VAT) must be paid for each category entered, except in the case of nominated categories (see above).

When is judging taking place?
Judging for the 2019 awards will take place at the end of September.

When will the Shortlist be announced?
The shortlist will be announced on the 4th October.

Can my company sponsor one of the awards?
Yes – please email for more information.

When is the Awards Ceremony?
The Build It Awards dinner this year will be on Friday 29th November at the Hilton London Bankside. Networking drinks take place at 6.15pm and the awards ceremony will follow afterwards. Dress code: smart (not black tie)

Can I attend the Awards Gala Dinner?

Yes, but only ticket holders may attend. Ticket sales will be released end of August. Further details on how to book a table will be available shortly.
