Best Self Build for Under £500k

Build It has long championed self build as an option for the many, not just the wealthy few. This category is for self build homes that have been completed for under £500,000 (construction and fit-out cost, excluding land) and is open to projects that make best use of the budget available, and those at the more affordable end of the spectrum. Anyone may enter. Judges will look at how the project has delivered a high-quality home that represents great value-for-money, while achieving the homeowner’s requirements.

Entries should include:

  • Pictures of the interior and exterior of the finished home
  • A clear set of floorplans and elevation drawings
  • A detailed description of the project
  • Reference from the homeowner
  • Any other information as detailed in the Entry Form and T&Cs
